About Me

Hi, I'm Sonia Marta.

I got into writing at a very young age, my first book published when I was 10 – a Romanian poetry book called Oracol. I started liking sci-fi movies a lot after a year or two, and with my main source of inspiration being David Walliams, I got an eruption of ideas that soon came to be The Rapping Astronaut (dare I say my personal favorite), followed shortly by Bucharest City Tour, a Trip with Sonia.

Ever since then, I visited kindergartens, schools, universities, participated in zoom calls and live events, inspiring more than 2,000 children worldwide.

I’m very passionate about my work, and I keep an open door for all my other interests! Psychological thrillers are the thing for me – they influence the majority, if not all my ideas!

I am very hooked on languages at the moment, and everything related to cinematography. I would call myself quite a welcoming and curious type of person; like someone you met once at a social event or gathering and always remember their funny, playful personality.

As far as writing goes, I have a goal to reach 10k hours mastering the skill until I get into university, so writing daily is a must for me.
